It’s time to say a fond farewell to Father Damien Nejad as he leaves us to take up his new post at St. Eunan’s Cathedral, in Letterkenny, Diocese of Raphoe.
We are sure that you will all want to join us in thanking Fr Damien for his ministry here in Newry and in praying that he will settle quickly into his new parish. Thank you, Father Damien.
Fr Damien’s parting request for the people of Newry Parish is that we should make a special effort to pray the Rosary every day. This powerful prayer is our greatest defence against worldly temptations.
